You do not have the right to eliminate yourself; you do not belong to you. You belong to the universe.
Buckminster Fuller
As quoted in Hatch, Buckminster Fuller: At Home in the Universe, 1974
Artist Statement
You are the matter we exist among. You are more powerful than you will ever know. You have a trajectory that is uniquely yours and will bend and shape shift based on your own decisions as well as the myriad other factors that may bump you along the way. The word “YOU” redefined as the root of the word “UNIVERSE” is the origin of the illustrated one, while Buckminsterfullerenes swirl and dance through both the foreground and background with the intent to open up our perceptions of what any given moment in time can feel like and to create an environment of contemplation.
