By visually shattering the frame, a symbol of enduring racist structures, this composition responds to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s call for light and love in the face of darkness and hate. At its center, the void marks a rupture in these systems, not as absence, but as a powerful image of hope and possibility.
