Rosario Castellanos (1925–1974) Mexican poet and author.
One of the most important authors of the late 20th century, Castellanos’s work influenced feminist theory and cultural studies, as well as setting the stage for the success of many female Mexican authors. Her work is notable for its themes of communication, feminism, and compassion for indigenous peoples.
