One of the most important authors of the late 20th century, Castellanos’s work influenced feminist theory and cultural studies, as well as setting the stage for the success of many female Mexican authors. Her work is notable for its themes of communication, feminism, and compassion for indigenous peoples.

I chose this quote because it has so much meaning when you can control your own freedom that why I chose this quote and for people it’s hard when their someone controlling your own freedom when people laugh that tells you freedom is here.
